A Minnesota federal judge has ordered US officials not to destroy or alter evidence related to Saturday’s fatal shooting of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis by a Border Patrol agent.
US District Judge Eric C. Tostrud issued his order Saturday, and set a hearing on the order for Monday in the US District Court for the District of Minnesota.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office filed a complaint Saturday against Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and other federal officials, seeking access to evidence from the shooting.
