The Atlanta federal judge reprimanded for having an affair in her chambers appeared in court Wednesday for the first time since the judiciary released its misconduct findings against her.
The recent revelations about Judge Eleanor Ross of the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia weren’t raised as she presided over two hearings in criminal cases, held on the 17th floor of Atlanta’s Richard B. Russell Federal Building.
The proceedings, one guilty plea hearing and another detention hearing, are the first to go forward after a judicial misconduct council found last month that Ross had an affair in-chambers, ...
