The US Supreme Court denied the Trump administration’s request to put several clashes with the Environmental Protection Agency on hold.
In an order Thursday, the justices said they won’t press pause on the briefing schedules in three cases they had already agreed to hear involving the agency.
One of the disputes, Diamond Alternative Energy v. EPA, stems from an agency waiver that gave California permission to address the climate crisis by setting more stringent pollution standards for auto manufacturers.
