Kenvue to Pay $4.7 Million to Settle Neutrogena Face Scan Suit

Kenvue Brands LLC agreed to pay $4.7 million to settle a Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act class suit filed over its Neutrogena Skin360 app and website’s allegedly improper collection of unique facial geometry.

The plaintiffs alleged that Kenvue, once Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc., collected their biometric information without sufficient consent and without providing a public retention schedule.
