Mississippi’s attorney general was blocked from enforcing a law curbing minors’ access to social media the day it was set to go into effect after a federal judge agreed the law is likely unconstitutional.
Judge Halil S. Ozerden of the US District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi granted a preliminary injunction Monday as part of a lawsuit from tech industry group NetChoice, which argued the state law violates the First Amendment.
