Republicans Press Roberts on Ethics of Anonymous Judge Criticism

Top Republican lawmakers are asking Chief Justice John Roberts to say whether federal judges are violating ethics rules by anonymously sharing concerns with the media about the Supreme Court’s emergency orders.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Rep.
