DOJ Says Biden Administration Protected Abortion Groups (1)

The US Justice Department said it will drop criminal cases against some “pro-life” activists who it claimed were unfairly targeted for prosecution by the Biden administration in collaboration with abortion-rights groups.

A 900-page report by DOJ’s “weaponization working group” accuses the previous administration of using the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act to protect Planned Parenthood and other groups, “while ignoring and downplaying vandalism and attacks against pregnancy resource centers.”

The 1994 law prohibits use of violence or intimidation to prevent access to reproductive health centers.
