Criminal defendants whose federal sentences were tossed by former President Joe Biden will now have to worry about Florida prosecutors, the state‘s top cop announced Tuesday.
Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier (R) has assigned the Office of Statewide Prosecution to research any potential Florida criminal violations for individuals commuted by Biden.
“If we can bring state-level charges, we will work with every level of government to do so,” he said in a statement.
