Megan Crepeau covers courts in Chicago and beyond. Before starting at Bloomberg Law, she spent more than a decade at the Chicago Tribune, where she investigated courthouse dysfunction and reported on a wide range of cases, from first-degree murder to public corruption, to civil-rights suits. She is the recipient of the 2023 Taylor Family Award for Fairness in Journalism as well as multiple local awards, including the Chicago Bar Association’s 2019 Herman Kogan Media Award.
