The US would be directed to cease all military operations against Iran that haven’t been approved by Congress under H. Con. Res. 38.

The 1973 War Powers Resolution lets lawmakers order the removal of US forces from overseas hostilities that haven’t been explicitly authorized by a formal declaration of war or a congressional authorization for the use of military force.
