More than 90 of President Donald Trump’s nominees were confirmed by the Senate on Thursday night in a sweeping package as the chamber wraps up its work for the year.
The Senate voted 53-43 to approve the president’s nominees in the third tranche of the new process of quick, high-volume confirmations. National Labor Relations Board members, key officials across departments, and more than a dozen US attorneys were among the many who secured their spots in the administration before the year’s end.
