Farm Bill Pesticide Language Stripped by House in Amendment Vote

The House approved an amendment Thursday to remove provisions from the farm bill that would preempt state and local pesticide warning label rules.

The chamber voted 280-142 on the amendment to H.R. 7567. The amendment was offered by Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) and cosponsored by Rep. Eli Crane (R-Ariz.).
