House’s Right Flank Threatens Senate GOP Immigration Budget Plan

House conservatives signaled opposition to the budget blueprint just hours after the Senate advanced it early Thursday, threatening the GOP’s immigration funding plans.

“I’m not going to support a skinny budget,” said Rep. Warren Davidson (R-Ohio), a frequent thorn in Speaker Mike Johnson’s (R-La.) side. Davidson said he expects the budget resolution would fail in the House “if they put it on the floor that way.”
