PhRMA Lobbying Remains Near Record High, PBMs Drop (1)

Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America spent more than $12.2 million on lobbying in the first quarter of 2026, its second-highest quarterly total on record after the first quarter of 2025, according to disclosures filed Tuesday.

The nation’s top drug industry trade group ranks third in overall lobbying spending this quarter and spent nearly $38 million last year.
