Lobbyist Rich Gold joined a fledgling Washington office of a Florida law firm to build out its lobbying practice back in 1994. A lot has changed since then.
Holland & Knight, the firm where Gold leads the unit, brought in $55.1 million in federal lobbying fees last year, making it the sixth biggest in the city, according to Bloomberg Government’s Top Lobbying Firms special report. Gold says revenue for state, federal, and regulatory advocacy is about $185 million a year.
