Senate Sends Three Spending Bills to Trump But Has More Ahead

Appropriators are making significant headway toward funding the government long-term, having six full-year spending bills left on their agenda.

The Senate passed a minibus covering Commerce-Justice-Science, Energy and Water, Interior-Environment programs (H.R. 6938) by a vote of 82-15, sending it to President Donald Trump who is expected to sign the measure into law.
