The House Appropriations Committee approved its last two spending bills for fiscal 2026, with less than three weeks before government funding expires on Oct. 1.
The full committee voted along party lines to advance its Labor-Health and Human Services-Education bill on Sept. 9 and Commerce-Justice-Science bill on Sept. 10.
