Courts will be thrown into “chaos,” a Trump administration attorney claimed Monday, if the Ninth Circuit doesn’t continue to pause orders from a California federal judge who said a nationwide class of detained immigrants have the right to a bond hearing.
Those orders were “a flare-up of judicial immodesty,” Deputy Assistant Attorney General Drew Ensign said during oral arguments Monday.
