Supreme Court’s ‘History’ Test Sparks Second Amendment Confusion

In June 2022, The US Supreme Court struck down a New York State law that regulated concealed handguns.

The court’s 6-3 decision in New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v. Bruen, created a new test that requires judges to look at whether a gun law is “consistent with the Nation’s historical tradition of firearm regulation.” In this video, we look at how lower courts are struggling with the new test for gun laws, and what that means for future gun law regulations in America.
